Revit 2D Wheelchair Accessibility Guide

Detail Item (rfa. File) for Revit 2019 of a man on a wheelchair in top view for plans.

Designing with the actual rotation space will help you provide enough clear floor space for a wheelchair to turn smoothly. Requiring enough internal clear floor space for a wheelchair to make a 180° turn, accessible bathrooms must have either a 60” (152.5 cm) diameter turning circle or a T-shaped turning space located within a 60” (152.5 cm) square with a minimum of 36” (91.4 cm) wide arms.

The radius of rotation is parametric. All figures have been carefully drawn within Autodesk Revit to ensure that the families are optimized for Revit. There is no splines in the drawing. Each figure includes a masking region that could be turned on and off

Line weights will be updated according to your Line Weights options (Detail Items category).
