Disclaimer:
- This pack of Stairs and Railing features advanced and complex staircases and tries to achieve some “impossible geometries” in Revit. Due to the software’s limitations, the structural part or even parts of the stair tread or riser were sometimes modeled using a Railing Family instead of the default stair tools.
- Some complex Stair Families will work better in a linear staircase drawing than non-linear stairs, such as spiral, L-shaped, and U-shaped winder stairs.
- Please note that we did our best to describe the unique parts of our work and help you edit them quickly, but this tutorial cannot teach beginners how to model stairs in Revit or replace the basics of Revit modeling knowledge.
